In Taiwan, Tzu Chi’s recycling mission is backed by some 67000 volunteers who collect reusable materials everyday turning trash into gold. But what exactly does that mean? Well, take the collected PET bottles for example, at the hands of Da Ai Technology, they become raw materials for making blankets and clothes with excellent insulation and at the same time, stain resistant. The proceeds from selling these green products are then donated to charity continue the relay of love. Exactly how eco-friendly are these goods? Well, they are backed by the world renowned TUV Rheinland’s first recycled material certification in the world.
